Not having purchased
a car for over eight years, this car buying experience was new to us for
three reasons: one, we had never purchased a used vehicle before; two,
we had never purchased a vehicle "sight unseen"; and three, we certainly had
never started this process over the internet before. We

In 2002 we bought our first of three autos from you, a 530i Sport.
Then in 2004 my wife needed a new car and we came to you and soon she was
driving a 330i, which she just loves. Then yesterday we concluded our

Dear Mr. Davis, In the same
way that the 2005 BCS National Championship football game between Texas and
Southern California exceeded the stratospheric hype that preceded the actual
game, so did the performance of the Advantage Certified team exceed the
lofty level of service promised on your website. I commend you and
your team for exemplary service in every area. I had
had a desire for the last several years to own another roadster (I owned a
1973 Triumph TR-6 for many years until the early 1990's), and decided that
winter 2006 was the right time to satisfy this desire. I have always
loved the lines of the BMW Z3, and learned of your facility years ago when I
lived in southern Maryland. I began following your inventory on the
web in early December, 2005, and at the end of the month a confluence of
circumstances (key of which was the presence of a car that I just loved from
the look of it!) afforded the opportunity to visit your facility. As a
result of that visit, my wife Joyce and I bought the car, and we just love
it. Two things about the whole experience are specially noteworthy.
The Sales Experience: From the moment we walked in we were
treated with the utmost respect, courtesy and professionalism. All the
people we spoke with that day - primarily Pauline Ball, and also Mike, Paul
and Greg - did everything they could to help us make an informed decision on
the car, with never a hint of any pressure. I worked over four years
as the Sales Team Leader at a Saturn retailer that could have written the
Saturn corporate training plan on how to provide the customer a fun, no
hassle sales experience. Your team provided Joyce and me with the same
exemplary sales experience that is virtually nonexistent elsewhere in the
automotive world. The Service Experience:
Even the most comprehensive pre-owned certification programs (and I know of
none anywhere that approaches yours) can be done in by things like a
dysfunctional oxygen sensor. The engine service light came on as we
were driving the car home after delivery, even though an oxygen sensor had
been replaced during certification. I spoke with Glenn Rumingan in the
service department and we made arrangements for me to get a loaner while the
problem was diagnosed and fixed. When I dropped the car off on a
Monday afternoon, I also noted to Glenn a chip in the windshield. I
had known of this chip at delivery and accepted the car; Advantage
Certified was under no obligation of any kind to take further action on the
windshield. Nevertheless, Paul called me the next day to say Advantage
Certified was going to replace the windshield. I was able to keep the
loaner until Thursday, which was my first opportunity to return to Manassas
Park to pick up the Z3. All was in readiness when I arrived - service
light off, brand new windshield, and spanking clean like it had just come
off the showroom floor. The professionalism of the service department,
allowing me to keep the loaner for several days, and especially the
replacement of the windshield demonstrate a level of commitment to customer
satisfaction after the sale that far exceeded my expectations.

Dear Ken, When I saw the 2001
Slate Green 540i Sport 6-speed in your most recent Advantage Certified
email, I realized I had finally found the right BMW to replace the 1998 540i
6-speed I bought from you a couple of years back. What I did not
realize is how easy it would be to complete this deal in a way that had me
going from chatting with you about my trade-in one day to sitting in the
driver's seat of my new BMW before the ink was even dry a couple of days
later.
Thanks to Pauline for indulging me in a few test
drives (and keeping me doubled over with bits from her comedy act). I
was anxious to check out the 530i Sport 5-speed -- it did not disappoint.
I also drove the X3 with the 5-speed -- a great ride for the snow. But
I couldn't pass up the comfort and the explosive yet civilized power band of
the 540i Sport.
Thanks to John who got right to work evaluating my
trade-in. It was amazing that after running a few numbers secretly in
my head on the old 540i, John arrived at the exact same number! When I

Frank and I wanted to thank

On Father's Day I took
possession of my pre-owned 2001 Z3, and I love it. I was not initially
looking at BMWs, thinking they were to expensive for my budget, but

Dear Ken, In March of this year, 2004, I began a search
for a pre-owned BMW for my wife. This was to be a 25th Wedding
Anniversary gift for her. I initially made contact with Troy Caswell
and set up a time to meet him. With some covert work done by my son I
was able to narrow down the type of vehicle she preferred, which happened to
be a 3 series convertible.
When I met with Troy he was nothing but a consummate
professional. His knowledge about all the vehicles we looked at was

Although my search began three months before our
anniversary I had no idea how long it may take to find that perfect car.
But with Troy's assistance and the work done by my son, that perfect car was

mechanics and cosmetic detailing staff was astonishing. I truly felt

appreciated. The only thing I regret is that you and your staff
weren't able to see the look on her face when she came home from work that
fateful evening, opened the garage door, and saw that shiny black
convertible staring her in the face. She was truly shocked and didn't
know what to say.
In my haste to get the car home that evening before
she arrived I actually forgot to take my copy of the purchase agreement and
associated paperwork. So, a few days later my wife stopped by your

Dear Bryan, I purchased my
1992 735i from Advantage Certified seven-and-a-half years and nearly 100,000
miles ago. In all this time there have been only two significant
mechanical repairs. One involved the front suspension, and recently
you replaced the driveshaft. In both cases I brought the car in for
routine service, and your technicians found the problems in the course of
the checkup. Even though I had not been consciously aware of the
problems when I brought the car in, the improvement was unmistakable when I
drove away. I had simply forgotten how wonderfully the car handles and
how silky-smooth it drives.
I have never had the car serviced anywhere but in your
shop. I appreciate your courtesy and helpfulness in all aspects of a
service visit. My experiences have caused my to trust your advice
completely. If you say something needs to be replace or repaired, I
know that there is a real problem and that I will notice the difference when
it is fixed. I also feel confident that I will be charged fairly.
My experience in buying this car was the best, most
satisfying automotive transaction I ever had. But even so, it is the
service experience that brought me in to buy a BMW 5 series for my wife last
year. Some day I suppose that I will need to replace the car I have
myself. When I do, I will certainly be back.

I purchased a 1997 BMW 528i 5-speed
from Advantage Certified about a month ago, February 19, 2004. The salesman who I
worked with, Troy Casewell, was well-informed and very helpful. He helped me go over the car I eventually bought and pointed out cosmetic and more
serious things that the certification process would take care of when they
processed the car. I was impressed that when it came time for a test drive,
Troy just handed me the keys and gave me some general directions about local
roads where I could drive to get a feel for the car. I
came back from the test drive very pleased and decided to buy the car. Troy
did an excellent job of getting me through the somewhat tedious job that the
final purchase of any vehicle entails. From that point on I experienced only
the best service from the staff at Advantage Certified. Bryan, the service
manager patiently answered all of my questions about the service that would
be done on the car. Ruth took care of all the steps to get the car serviced,
checked over and cleaned up. and Troy and his crew did a fantastic job
detailing the car so that it looked great when I picked it up. I would be
remiss if I also didn't mention that Chrissie, who answered the phone just
about every time I called, was very helpful when others were not available.
In short, I am very pleased with my purchase from

In January of
this year (2004), we became proud owners of a beautiful 530I BMW! While we
could easily write a novel as to why we bought a BMW and all of the
advantages with it, we thought it would be best to give the "Reader's
Digest" version. So, without further adieux, here is our story.
We shopped many places during our "preview" phase of car shopping.
We weren't sure whether we wanted a 3 or 5 series. In fact, we weren't
totally convinced as to whether or not we wanted a BMW. Neither one of us
has ever owned one before; boy have we missed out! When we initially came
to Advantage Certified, we didn't want to deal with a salesperson. We just
wanted to look - unhassled. Once we decided to purchase a BMW, my wife
casually dropped by Advantage Certified one afternoon. At that time, a
salesperson by the name of Paul Dreps approached her. Previously
salespeople never got past the initial contact due to their tendencies to be
over-bearing and had artificial approaches. However, she was immediately
taken with Paul's approach. His sincerity, warmth, and casual
characteristics formed a connection. These qualities made my wife feel as
though he truly cared about selling her a car that would meet her needs. In
fact, this was further proven when she requested a test drive with a red
convertible that she thought "spoke her name!" After going for a spin and
absolutely falling in love, Paul brought her back to reality and reminded
her of the reasons she had verbalized to him for getting the 5 series. Even
though he burst her bubble, he gained additional respect from her because
this further proved he wasn't just trying to sell her a car. After meeting
Paul, I would have to concur with my wife. Paul's professionalism sets him
apart from the "typical car salesman". In fact, he is not even in their
class. In closing our deal, the time and patience we received from Sean
Rizzo was also admirable. Once again, he was willing to listen to us.
While we didn't deal with any of the other individuals in that office,
everyone was very friendly and helpful.
In closing, we want anyone that reads this to understand that
Advantage Certified made us feel special. The professionalism and kindness and the
willingness to listen sets a standard that is as high as the product that
they promote. We are very impressed with the performance of our BMW and we
were equally impressed with the performance of Paul and Sean! We sincerely
hope they will be there when we decide to upgrade! Hopefully this

P.S. With all of the many "extras" that came with the car such as
the heated seats and heated steering wheel, the best one is the one that

Dear Sir, My wife and I
recently purchased a pre-owned 2001 BMW 330cic from your company. We
have bought over 15 cars during the past 25 years. This was the most
